Good work can still miss what matters

You understood the request. You delivered what was asked. But an untested assumption, an unspoken expectation, or missing context kept the work from delivering its full value.

Stop Solving Too Soon helps professionals and teams recognize what hasn’t surfaced yet, decide what deserves attention, and know when they have enough to move.

WHY IT MATTERS

The request is rarely the whole story

An assumption no one tested. An expectation no one named. A piece of context that would have changed the approach. When those gaps surface late, they show up as rework, unmet expectations, unnecessary friction, or technically sound work that doesn’t quite land.

The idea behind Stop Solving Too Soon is simple. Create enough space to notice what may still be missing before the request becomes the plan.

Solve the right problem. Right-size the work. Deliver solutions that land.

ABOUT JODI

The experience behind the work

Hi, I'm Jodi Hrbek. I've spent more than two decades at the intersection of sales and technology. I started as a sales trainer, teaching consultants how to uncover client needs, then spent more than a decade in sales enablement, sales operations, and CRM before moving deeper into technology delivery and leading CRM and technology initiatives.

Along the way, I learned that asking good questions and having a strong discovery process is only part of the picture. We also need a way to recognize what hasn't surfaced, especially when a request seems clear and we're ready to move forward.

For the past two years, I’ve been refining UNCOVER™, a practical set of lenses that helps professionals know where to look for what may still be missing. I’ve tested and refined the ideas through workshops, live programs, and real-world application.

That work now comes together under Stop Solving Too Soon. The book introduces the ideas. The live program gives professionals a place to practice and apply them to their own work.

I'm also the author of Rock Your Role as a Salesforce Admin, an Amazon bestseller that's helped thousands of professionals navigate stakeholder dynamics and deliver solutions that better serve the business.
